The plot : 

Based on the New York Times bestseller, WONDER tells the incredibly inspiring and heartwarming story of August Pullman (Auggie), a boy with facial differences that prevented him from going to a mainstream school who enters fifth grade, attending a mainstream elementary school for the first time. 

The cast has been really well chosen, with Julia Roberts, Owen Wilson (loved his performance which was incredible in No Escape), Jacob Tremblay (the new little prodigy of Hollywood, seen in The Book Of Henry and Before I wake...). 

Stephen Chbosky (who also work on the latest Beauty and the Beast, The perks of being a wallflower...) 

If you have ever been the new kid then you know how hard it can be. Being different makes it even more harder. The thing is Auggie's just an ordinary kid, with an extraordinary face. But can he convince his new classmates that he's just like them, despite appearances? Also, how do the parents react to both protect their child but make him understand that life can be hard ? And how hard it also can be for them.

No wonder this movie if fully charged in emotion and will make you cry here and there (by its beauty). Jacob Tremblay said "I really wanted to be part of this message", "I thought that by doing this role I would really help change the world."
