You liked The Conjuring series? Remember the super creepy nun in the last movie?
THE PLOT:
Well she is back in this horrific spin-off. This opus will be directed by Corin Hardy, whose pretty new in directing, as The Nun will be his second movie, after The Hallow (horror movie released in 2015).
A priest with a haunted past and a novice on the threshold of her final vows are sent by the Vatican to investigate the death of a young nun in Romania and confront a malevolent force in the form of a demonic nun.
THE CAST:
Not the same cast as in The Conjuring, as it is a spin-off.
Although you may see a familiar face with Taissa Farmiga who is nothing else than Vera Farmiga's (from The Conjuring movies) little sister. Taissa is well known in the horror field, from her roles in the American Horror Story TV shows. Here she will be playing Sister Irene.
Demian Bichir, also seen in Alien : Convenant, and soon to appear in the next The Grudge movie, will be playing Father Burke; the priest investigation on the nun`s mysterious suicide.
Returning in her role, Bonnie Aarons will be The Nun!
THE TRAILER:
Honestly everyone kind of screamed when we watched the trailer in the theater... I even asked myself if I actually wanted to go see this movie. But of course yes, it is too intriguing to not go!
