The plot :
A teenage girl discovers a box that carries magic powers and grants wishes. But there's a deadly price to it : it kills someone close to her each time.
A teenage girl discovers a box that carries magic powers and grants wishes. But there's a deadly price to it : it kills someone close to her each time.
Reminding you a bit of the novel "La peau de Chagrin" by Balzac (where the owner of the Shagreen skin seed his physical energy consumed as the skin shrinks for each of his wish) or "The monkey's paw" by W.W. Jacobs (where three wishes are granted to the owner of the monkey's hand, but the wishes come with an enormous price for interfering with fate).
Not the movie of the year, but still entertaining ! The kind of movie you like to watch on the couch with a blanket and a bowl of popcorn.
