✘ What the hell is Slender Man ?
It is a fictional entity created for a 2009 Photoshop contest on Something Awful, an online forum, the goal of which was to create paranormal images. Then people started to create fan fictions and additional forged images, depicting the entity.
It is described as a tall, faceless man in a black suit with tentacles growing out of his back. The entity can cause amnesia, bouts of coughing and paranoid behavior in individuals. It would be hiding in the forest, and stalking children.

Il s'agit d'une entité fictive créée pour un concours Photoshop en 2009 sur "Something Awful", un forum en ligne, dont le but était de créer des images paranormales. Ensuite, les gens commencé à créer des fictions, et d'autres images forgées, décrivant l'entité.
Il est décrit comme un grand homme sans visage dans un costume noir, avec des tentacules dans le dos. L'entité peut provoquer une amnésie, des accès de toux et un comportement paranoïaque chez les individus. Il se cacherait dans la forêt et harcèlerait des enfants.
✘The plot of the documentary :
It discusses the incident in which two 12 year old girls attempted to murder one of their friends in an attempt to appease Slender Man.
Indeed, the online tale becomes a nightmare as two 12 year old girls, guided by their devotion to Slender man, lure their friend into the woods to attempt a seemingly inexplicable, brutal murder. From the depths of one in the Internet's most unsettling creations to the court case that must consider the consequences, Beware the Slenderman brings to light questions of accountability in an age where young, growing minds are only a few clicks away from creating and consuming something that may influence them to commit unspeakable crimes.
The documentary is shot over 18 months and contains interviews with the families of the two would-be murderers.
✘L'intrigue du documentaire :
II traite de l'incident dans lequel deux jeunes filles de 12 ans ont tenté d'assassiner une de leurs, en tentant d'apaiser Slenderman.
En effet, le conte en ligne devient un cauchemar lorsque ces deux jeunes filles, guidées par leur dévouement à Slenderman, attirent leur amie dans les bois pour une tentative de meurtre, inexplicable et brutale. Du fond de l'une des créations les plus troublantes d'internet à l'affaire judiciaire qui doit tenir compte des conséquences, "Beware of the Slenderman" met en lumière des questions de responsabilités à une époque où les jeunes esprits croissants sont à quelques clics de créer et de consommer des choses qui peuvent les influencer à commettre des crimes sans nom.
